Due to the nature of a small company, I wore many hats and had several duties. The following is a listing each role and the job duties respective of each. Business Development | Meet with prospective clients to secure new business. Writing proposals, establishing project costs, timelines, and deliverables. Negotiating contracts. Making Presentations. Project Management | Coordinating project assets between clients and design team. Organizing project files. Tracking hours spent on projects. Providing regular status reports to clients. Hiring employees and sub-contracting vendors. Design | Creating sample artwork. Performing client needs analysis. Writing creative briefs. Flash animations. Storyboarding outlines. Success criteria establishment and testing and analysis. Development | HTML, JavaScript, ActionScript, Simple ASP, CSS hand coding. Video Compression, basic editing. Site assembly. Debugging and testing. Web server setup and configuration. Administration | Creating design and site usability standards as well as testing standards and practices. Writing new client questionnaires. Analyzing and modifying business practices and policies.

Description: My job was to provide MSN’s subscriber base with technical and billing support. I was positioned on Tier 3, the highest escalation level. My primary job was to solve customer problems with either billing or technical support. I also routinely discovered and documented emerging technical issues, providing the Network Operations Center with technical evidence. While this position is not necessarily relevant to advertising, the experience provided was invaluable for developing teamwork, verbal communications, research based problem solving, client service, and a great ability to work under pressure.

As assistant photographer, it was my job to coordinate and setup photoshoots, assemble and style sets, adjust lighting and camera settings, proof images, develop and print negatives, and run general errands for the business.
